is back on the airwaves. After a few months of fill-ins his regular spot will be Tuesdays from 3:00-5:00 pm. The show is called "Off The Beaten Track" and will feature a wide range of ecclectic rock oriented music.

The Birdman has been blasting great tunes for 20 years on
community radio. Starting at CHSR-FM in Fredericton, New Brunswick
and ending up in the nation's capital in 1985, the show has continued to attract
listeners who love the spirit of independent music.

Tune in to CKCU 93.1 in Ottawa, Friday mornings at 9:30 am.

Taking over the high profile specialty show 'No Future Now'
the Birdman quickly established the ground rules for many forms of punk rock
and it's relations. He has been at the control board of one of the station's longest running
general music shows now for 10 years.

Start your weekends off with the Birdman.

The show runs Friday mornings from 9:30 to 12:00 to hear
the gamut run from the sounds of Hasil Adkins to Jeff Dahl, the Monomen to
Miles Davis, the Zoobombs to Zappa. Regular profiles on artists playing in town often
take on in studio performances and interviews as well as topical chatter. Over the years,
guests in the studio have included Jeff 'Monoman' Conolly of DMZ/Lyres, Nardwuar the Human
Serviette, the New Bomb Turks, Sick Boys, Smash Up Derby,
Chris Issac, The Sidewinders, Screaming Blue Messiahs,
Black Boot Trio, the Stand GT, Castor,
Spiny Anteaters, and Jim Bryson.
