"A Canadian punk band that's making their own sound. I'm so tired of hearing "punk" bands nit-pick about school vs. new or REALLY punk Resin Scraper is like blood in my veins hearing a band that obviously above and beyond stupid petty semantic squabbling. Somewhere towards the end of second side there guitar riff over drums intro to song starting slowly building up when surly voice interrupts too fucking easy. Give me challenge goes hard way pulls it off. (4) Eliot Duhan >-Carbon 14 # 15...June '99.
"This is Canuck punk rock with the emphasis on the rock. Old school punk rock reminiscent of the early '80's mixed with a dose of Jack Daniels. Actually they are probably a great drinking band to boot (Probably? Are you kidding me? -ed.). Fun, rocking stuff here to make you want to have another beer. Donofthedead, -Flipside...'99.

"...if songs like "Looking Glass" are any indication of where this band ig soing, then I wanna be there. Face front true believers, this is punk for punks who are sick of punk." -Chart, Toronto...Mar.'97
"...if you could only take one disk with you to play at a party, what would you choose? My current choice would be the Great White North's answer to the New Bomb Turks, Canada's Resin Scraper and their Heard Mentality." Jersey Beat, New Jersey...Mar.'97
"Something crazy must be going on north of the border. Resin Scraper blows the doors off the barn with their hardcore/harmonica sound." -Fridge, New York...Mar. '97
